About StudioIA
What is StudioIA?
An online tool that turns a screenshot of a view of your 3D model into a photoreal image. You mark regions of the screenshot and choose the real product for each, and the render shows that product in place, in the scene's perspective and light. It is made by Studio3D, an architectural visualization studio.
Who is it for?
Architects and interior designers who need realistic images to present projects, without setting up a rendering pipeline with a traditional renderer.
Which software does it work with?
Any of them: StudioIA starts from an image, not from the model file. A screenshot from SketchUp, Revit or Archicad, Rhino, 3ds Max or Blender works, as PNG or JPEG up to 50 MB.
Do I need to install anything?
No. StudioIA runs in your browser and renders on our servers, so you don't need a powerful graphics card.
Does it work for interiors and facades?
Yes. You choose whether the scene is interior or exterior, and StudioIA adapts the light and setting to it.
Renders
What resolution are the images?
Up to 4K. The Pro model renders at 1K, 2K or 4K, and the Flash model makes quick 1K drafts. A finished render can also be upscaled to 4K, keeping the same picture, colors and lighting.
How long does a render take?
Usually a few seconds to a minute per image. You follow its progress in the app and get notified when it's ready.
Does the render change my project's geometry?
StudioIA uses the edges of your screenshot to keep walls, openings and furniture where you modeled them. To check, turn on the preservation check: it compares the render with the screenshot and shows how far it drifted from the original geometry.
How do I put a specific product in the render?
Add the product to your library with a reference photo and a description, paint the region of the screenshot where it goes and assign the product to it. The render places that item, matching the scene's perspective and light. The library is reused across views.
How do I keep a project's views consistent?
Pick a render you like and set it as the style anchor. The project's next renders follow the same materials, tones and light.
Can I adjust the lighting?
Yes. There are presets (morning sun, midday, overcast, afternoon sun, late afternoon and night), a field for the light's direction and, for interiors, artificial lights off or on at 3000K, 4000K or 6000K.
What if I don't like a detail of the render?
Use Edit: mark the area on the render and describe the change, like “replace the lamp with a brass pendant”. The result is a new render, and the original stays saved. You can also generate variations of the same request and pick the best.

Can I try it for free?
Yes. When you create an account, you get 5 free renders, no credit card needed.
Who can see my projects?
Only you. Your screenshots, product library and renders are tied to your account and never shown to other users.
What format do I download images in?
PNG, at the resolution they were rendered at.
Is StudioIA available in Portuguese?
Yes. The site and the app are in Portuguese and English.
